Serrat

Yarra Valley, Vic

The picturesque Serrat winery was established in 2001 by Tom and Nadège Carson in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Victoria.

Both have established careers in the wine industry, indeed Tom Carson is still employed by the Kirby Family Vineyards, who are known for their stunning Pinot Noirs from Yabby Lake on the Mornington Peninsula.

With 8,800 vines per hectare the vineyard boasts more than four times the average density normally found in Australia. One average it takes one vine to produce one bottle of wine.
By tending their vines in such a manner, the couple follow in the tradition of European vineyards, which have practised this method for hundreds of years.
The vineyard produces limited bottles, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
At Field Blend we are pleased to offer a selection of their finest bottles, which are always in high demand.
