Two of a Kind Wine Club is here to solve your wine woes and broaden your horizons, giving you access to wines from across the world. Our club helps customers appreciate wine in a whole new way by allowing them to explore all of its amazing varieties, each with its own distinct and delicious taste. What makes the wine club truly special is that you don’t have to be a wine snob to enjoy it, as we offer clear, engaging information about all of our wines.
Take a look below to see what we have chosen for this month’s selection.
This club offers our best value wines from around the world and Australia, boasting a wide range of exciting options.
Celebrate some of the finest, critically-renowned producers from around the globe and see what new flavours they are able to concoct from our chosen variety.
Despite its strong associations with NZ, the origins of SB can be traced back to the Loire Valley region of France, where its name literally translates to “Wild White”.
Sauvigon Blanc is quite special in that its most accomplished producers can be considered some of the best white wine producers in the world.
The Wine Farm was set up by Neil and Anna Hawkins in the beautiful South Gippsland region of Victoria. Their 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant, fine and mineral example with a soft texture and a drive of acidity.
The 2019 Sauvignon blend from Domaine de Pajot is a white wine, which we find Sauvignon Blanc combined with three other varieties unique to the Gascony region. All four grapes work together perfectly, resulting in a dry, zippy, incredibly refreshing white for all occasions.
Rippon is one of Central Otago’s oldest wine-producing estates. Situated on the shore of Lake Wanaka with frankly dazzling views of the South Island’s Southern Alps.Their 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful example of this variety which can compete with even the finest French examples.
Vincent Pinard is located in Bué, a village that along with Chavignol has some of the most prized vineyards in the Sancerre wine region of the Loire Valley. His 2017 Nuance comes from 40 year-old vines grown on Caillottes terroir (small stones over limestone) in Bue. This shows a big step up in texture and intensity from you average Snacerre with a hint of smokiness and chalky minerality with notable intensity in aromas and on the palate.
To make sure customers are kept updated about our findings, every month we send them a two-pack of new wines to try. Both wines in the pack will be made from the same variety of grape but will be from very different parts of the world, allowing customers to compare and contrast their special tastes. To make the learning experience even more comprehensive and exciting, the pack will include informative tasting notes that explore both the grape and the wine.
As a company that is passionate about sourcing rare, delicious and affordable wines, we are always incredibly keen to share them with our customers as well as tell the story behind every bottle.
As an exclusive member of the Two of a Kind Wine Club, you are going to get to drink some awesome wines at a great price. Every month, you will get the same deal: same variety, two different wines.
