January Selection

Variety- Cinsault

Cinsault is light in body and low in tannin. In France, Cinsault is classically blended with Grenache although the possibilities of this versatile grape are endless. For a quintessential summer Rosé reminiscent of Provence, Cinsault is an essential part of the blend.

The Bud Burst Club

2019  Selon Letang  Cinsault, Rhone Valley, France

This straight Cinsault produced by winemaker Guillaume Létang is bright, delicious and unapologetically unoaked, retaining its vibrant redcurrant and raspberry fruit.

2018 Badenhurst ‘Secateurs’ Red Blend, Swartland, SA

Kalmoesfontein Farm in the Swartland appellation of South Africa is home to AA Badenhorst Family Wines. In 2008, winemaker Andre Adrian and his cousin Hein purchased the rundown property in Swartland and its well-established vines.

The Old Vine Club

2019 Domaine de la Tour du Bon Rose, Bandol, France

Bandol rosé wines, which account for about a third of total output, are known for their spicy, earthy character and rank among the more distinguished rosés that France has to offer.

Cinsault plays a key role here and is used in the makeup of both the reds and roses of the region.

2020 Craven Cinsault, Stellenbosch, SA

This herb-driven and fruit-forward varietal Cinsault is one of our favorite wines coming out of South Africa. This medium-bodied wine oozes with flavors of red currants, and white pepper. Serve slightly chilled with braised meats, or cheese platters.

What You Need to Know

How It Works

To make sure customers are kept updated about our findings, every month we send them a two-pack of new wines to try. Both wines in the pack will be made from the same variety of grape but will be from very different parts of the world, allowing customers to compare and contrast their special tastes. To make the learning experience even more comprehensive and exciting, the pack will include informative tasting notes that explore both the grape and the wine.

The Deal

As a company that is passionate about sourcing rare, delicious and affordable wines, we are always incredibly keen to share them with our customers as well as tell the story behind every bottle.

As an exclusive member of the Two of a Kind Wine Club, you are going to get to drink some awesome wines at a great price. Every month, you will get the same deal: same variety, two different wines.
