This is a relatively new Domain founded in 2008. Romain is a rising star in Burgundy, following his studies he has worked with Dujac, Anne Gros, Nicolas Rossignol, Louis Latour, Mouton Rothschild and spent 6 years at Jacques Prieur in Meursault. The vineyards are meticulously managed by hand and farmed organically. The wines are thoroughly modern and exceptionally well balanced. The 2021’s classic fine and vibrant, the 2022’s expressive and plush with layers of extract.

Very dark color, the nose is loaded with briary fruit, boysenberry,, blackcurrant, lick of licorice and some classy oak sitting nicely,

The palate is impressively concentrated with sappy edged tannins and a line of mineral acidity, but the fruit is powerful and mouth coating, the blue and darker fruit characters and intensity drive the finish. Will age for the long term. Impressively concentrated 26-2036.
