Maison François Millet et Fils was founded in 2016, with the inaugural vintage released in 2017, owing to the challenging frost in 2016. François leads this venture alongside his wife Michelle and their two sons. Julien, at the age of 36, serves as the Technical Director at Domaine des Astrelles in Gevrey-Chambertin, while Adrien, aged 34, works diligently in the vineyards as a tractorist at Domaine Roumier in Chambolle-Musigny.

The Maison sources grapes and must from five or six esteemed domaines spanning the Côte d’Or and Côte Chalonnaise regions. In François’ own words, “It’s truly a partnership – a relationship built on trust and intimacy with these individuals.” The wines are carefully nurtured in the cellars located beneath the family residence in Chambolle-Musigny, resulting in an annual production of 10,000 bottles.
