Always cool, always a bit lighter in style, and so lovely in that way. Red fruits, a little liquorice root, dried flower and mint perfume. It’s medium-bodied, supple with a distinctly ‘mineral’ quality to acidity, the feel of the tannin is graceful and lithe, but present, and there’s a freshness and clarity to its finish of super length. Beautiful wine. My kind of Barolo.
