In the late 1990s, former sommelier and visionary Cédric Bouchard assumed control of his father’s vineyards in the Côte des Bar, founding Champagne Roses de Jeanne in 2000. From the outset, he pursued a radical approach: single-vineyard, single-variety (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc), single-vintage Champagnes, all bottled with zero dosage.
