“Cherry, raspberry, spice, mint, some tobacco, dried herbs and flowers. It’s medium-bodied, a little bit of sap and ripe tomato in the mix, squishy red fruit and cherry, quite nutty too, but what I like most about it is the quality of tannin; it has proper grip and texture, and they carry nicely on a long and lively finish, some orange peel bite in the aftertaste. The tannin gets me just over the line for 94 points.”
