“This masterful wine counts as one of the entry points for Guffens-Heynen, but it is a tour de force. There is a marked reduction to the initial attack, followed by aromas of grapefruit and passion fruit, with a hint of white flowers. The texture is firm and round, yet dynamic and fresh. The grapes were picked just before the rain, then fermented and matured in concrete to accentuate the fruit. A delightful wine.”
