This is a new wine from a newly acquired plot in Trouillas that is planted mostly to Grenache but also the other traditional varieties of the Roussillon. The name Cabanon comes because there is a little bit of Carignan in it that was gifted by Alain Castex. It is a little redder in fruit profile than the Pedres Blanques above but has the same silky purity and sensual harmony. Superb!
