This is a relatively new Domain founded in 2008. Romain is a rising star in Burgundy, following his studies he has worked with Dujac, Anne Gros, Nicolas Rossignol, Louis Latour, Mouton Rothschild and spent 6 years at Jacques Prieur in Meursault. The vineyards are meticulously managed by hand and farmed organically. The wines are thoroughly modern and exceptionally well balanced. The 2021’s classic fine and vibrant, the 2022’s expressive and plush with layers of extract.

Very dark red purple this is loaded with kirsch mulberry and cherry kernel lifted and quite punchy fruit there is some lovely spice and oak and deeply concentrated fruit, the oak sits well and gives a lovely sheen to the fruit.

Palate has quite a lot of volume and intensity, very silky tannins laden with cherry fruit, it super bright and classy effort, long fine with a solid styurcture to see many years in the cellar.
