‘Les Michelons’ derives from a 1.9 hectares plot on granitic sand. The vines are 50 to 90 years old. It was cropped 25.7 hectoliters per hectare. It has a super-concentrated bouquet of macerated dark cherries and maraschino, hints of marmalade, crème de cassis, and a sprinkle of cloves. The palate is medium-bodied with very ripe, demonstrative tannins.‘
