The 2021 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is terrific. Ample and expressive in the glass, this is a superb village-level Barolo. Kirsch, cedar, sweet pipe tobacco and incense open first. Medium in body, with fine depth, the 2021 has a lot to recommend it. Brisk acids and a kick of tannin on the finish suggest a bit of cellaring will be beneficial.
