How good is Champagne? Especially when they are the quality produced at Andre Jacquart. André Jacquart is based in Le Mesnil Sur Oger in the Côte des Blancs with holdings also in Vallée de la Marne and L’Aube. In total the domaine encompasses 24 ha of vines, a true grower Champagne. Owner Marie Doyard has introduced much more barrel-fermented wine into her base reserves, which has revved up the complexity. They now offer greater richness and roundness, balancing the driving acidity.
Another beautiful example of Blanc de Blancs Champagne with all the fruit being sourced from the Grand Cru village of Les Mesnil Sur Oger. Gorgeous aromas of pear and stone fruit with focus and precision on the palate. Will only develop more complexity with time in bottle. The perfect gift for any lover of great wines.
